For just $19.50, processing only, and $39 with prints.

Here's the link:

http://www.filmrescue.com/

I found it searching on google for Kodacolor-x and C-41. I found a roll of size 616 Kodacolor X in an Ansco Clipper (I think; its upstairs).

Filmrescue shows examples of how their special process works better than commercial C-41 labs.

I'm just going to take my chances, and get Blacks here in Toronto to develop - for $5 or whatever. Then I'll scan if there is anything there. And post it here.

Don't do it, Dan.

C-41 process will (according to Rowland Mowrey, who worked in Kodak's emulsion development area for a longish time) leave the dyes in C-22 film in a "leuko" state -- the image won't be in color, but white on clear (like B&W reversal after bleaching but before redevelop, more or less), and the dyes are *really* unstable in that form.  At a minimum, you need to put the film into C-22 stabilizer (formalin based) ASAP, and even then the colors will be off because C-41 uses CD-4 while C-22 used CD-3 -- meaning you get slightly different dyes.  If you use a lab that uses old-style C-41 chems, you may get good stabilization (Kodak and Fuji changed from formalin-based stabilizers just within the last 2-3 years), but you will absolutely not get accurate color.

If you're not going to send your Kodacolor-X off to Rocky Mountain or Film Rescue for their twice-yearly C-22 run, you're probably better off to just process it in HC-110.

Thanks. I guess I'll just forget about it then.
