Here are some shots that I took using plus-x pushed ~one stop with HC-110.   I wouldn't normally use this film for push processing, but then it worked for some of the shots. These were taken before and halfway with the Barrio Band at Powerhouse for Salsa Fridays...

Could stand a bit more contrast I think... the bald fellow has a great deal of character in him. That also looks like a neat place to shoot live music. Haven't done that, but with that P3200 (or perhaps your Delta suggestion) I might have to start pursuing that sort of thing.

I like the tones and grain a lot in those first shots.  I haven't been too happy with my Plus-X/HC-110, so maybe I'll try the push.  Would be interested in knowing the dilution you used and any other details you would care to share.

Hard to say what caused the low contrast results from in the middle shots.  Could be underexposure, or maybe just Photoshop wierdness.  When I get something like that, I usually switch to scanning as color positive with my Scan Dual IV and I turn on the "Pixel Polish" feature which seems to adjust everything nicely.

I'm not a big fan of music group shots, partly because I'm musically illiterate.  I think the first two are extremely nice portraits.  Looks like you are using a RF that needs a bit of adjustment for paralax in the close-ups.

I have had very good luck shooting Plus X at 320 and developing it in Diafine.  The tones and grain remain very smooth and the contrast in average or mixed lighting is excellent.  Conventional wisdom is to not shoot for Diafine in flat lighting so I haven't done that, but all of my experiences with it are very good.  Plus X is a good match for it.

I've been using HC-110 as a "one-shot" developer at Dilution H (1:63) at 16mins (68F) with very minimum agitation of 10 seconds every 2 minutes for my 125PX under a stop push
