Since viewing these pictures I find myself looking for fill flash examples, and I'm seeing quite a lot in both editorial and advertising, particularly at the
NY Times. For instance, the first two slide shows in
the Spring Travel edition of the magazine were all fill flash. So, it looks like a good skill to have these days if you are out to make money from your photos.
. . I used to really enjoy both the editorial content and the ads in the
Times. I may not buy another hard copy, though, as the ads for the multi-million dollar condos, over-the-top vacation spots, and fashions have gotten just too outrageous. I guess the web site doesn't seem so offensive because I tend to browse it more selectively.
