Boise, eh? Another cow climbed a high-tension electrical tower? Damn cows. They're just waiting for the chance to take over. You can see it in their eyes. You can hear it in the way they chew their cud.

I guess I'd best not be too hard on Idaho. After all, I have to go there to buy groceries. They might not let me back in. Sad
The cows a watching. Ever watching.........Smiley

Dang, Image, you makes me smarter all the time.  But my skeptical evil twin is in the mirror again, sayin'...."we'll see, we'll just see about all that hybrid talk..."

My company had an electric Chevy S10 pickup about 10 years ago. Guess that's what you mean by "EV"-?  Only a select few were allowed to drive it, and I wasn't among them. Had to plug it in every night I guess.  Still, I wanted to try it and see what it drove and sounded like. After a couple months (and one or two "out of amps" stranding experiences that embarassed management, the thing sat behind the building for a year or so and eventually disappeared.

I hope the cows around here don't start cilmbing the poles. I know what they gonna' do if they master that one-right on my windshield!

Yes, Tom, EV is short for "Electric Vehicle".  I'd love to have one -- these days, 99% of my driving is within ten miles or so of home, and an EV would cost me a cent or two per mile, compared to 15 or 20 times that for fuel and maintenance on the van.  And I'd like to try out my idea for a non-electronic speed control (potentially including regenerative braking).

Now, all I need is a scrap vehicle, welder, and money for batteries, materials, etc., plus a few hundred hours when I'm not doing anything.  Yeah, right...
