My dad gave me a box of 8mm movies to transfer to DVD.  They are old family movies of rodeo's, family reunion's, and such.  They are a treasure to me, as they contain some video of my grandparents and great grandparents.  In the box of goodies, I found a couple of boxes of slides.  These are a couple of slides of me as a kid.  Yikes!!

Nice toy!

Look at those cool boots!

Wow! I was excited over some $.10 fish.

Awwww ... what a cutie.  Are you still blonde?  My father used to take a lot of 8mm films when I was very young, and for a surprise one Christmas, my husband took all the films and had them transferred to video.  When he put the video in the VCR, and I saw what it was, I started crying.  Those are special memories that you are lucky to have.

Look and think before opening the shutter. The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera.
