I wish I had been able to get another roll or two in. Still, Hagar was able to take these photos of my little corner of the world:

Grass trees on Bilgola Plateau

Mangrove roots at Salt Pan Cove

Boat parking at Salt Pan Cove

I did find that a number of shots were a bit high (or to the left) of where I expected. I wear glasses, so I probably had my eye in the wrong place - !

Nice shots.  When shooting close you have to account for the parallax difference between lens and viewfinder.

Thanks Mike. I think that I could have used a slower shutter to get more depth of field in the first two. The DOF with standard lens is I guess a difference between 35mm and MF that needs to be gotten used to. The photos were taken in late afternoon.

Film was Astia 100F.

Very nice results, I like the second one.

Parallax is quite significant with this camera at close distances - I got a couple of beheaded subjects in my first roll...

I just noticed that these were here.  Very nice colour and composition.

Look and think before opening the shutter. The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera.

Nice Hagar shots John! Good compositions and really nice light in the grass tree shot. I'm not the world's best parralax compensator and managed to decapitate some kangaroos with Hagar - see here.
