Olga arrived in todays' post. The weather is supposed to warm, but be rainy for the next few days. We'll just have to hope for the best.

Hmmm.  Seems like the tags are correctly formed; you didn't have "disable BBCode" checked (below the composition box where you typed the text and pasted the tags), did you?

Edit: Oh, I see -- you linked the RF Forum pages instead of the images.

The office tower is Kodak in downtown Rochester. The waterfall and waterworks building are located across the street from the Kodak building on the Genesee river. The Reading anthracite sign is from a small town nearby.

It was these falls and another set downstream that gave Rochester its name "the Flour city". These days with the mills long gone they've changed to "the Flower city", playing up the Lilac festival in the spring.

I was in Rochester for about two hours in November 2004, on the way to NYC;  it's a nice city, and the few people I spoke to were very friendly.   These are some nice shots, especially the waterfall shot.
