This is a pretty sophisticated forum system.  Is it the same software that APUG uses?  I'm finding the generation of new windows a bit disorienting.  Maybe I will get used to it, but I am generally more comfortable using the back button to return to a previous screen.

No new windows for me (unless I tell it to). Don't know why yours would be working any different then mine, but it sounds like it is.

Mike - are you using Firefox? Do you have it configured to open new links in windows?

I'm running firefox and have no issues with pop-ups or new windows.

I am running Firefox, but I don't think the issue is with settings in that program.  Right now I've got your home page in one window.  When I click on "Discussions" it opens a new window.  When I go to the Options screen under "Tabbed Browsing" it says "Open links from other applications in: the most recent tab/window".

BTW, the windows business is not a big deal, and I hope you don't spend any time worrying about it.  I was just not sure if it was an intentional feature.

Mike - that is working correctly. The JOIN DISCUSSIONS link is the only link that should open in a new window of my front end. You can confine it to opening in a tab instead of a new window by either holding control and left-cliking the link, or clicking the link with the middle mouse button if you have one.
